OK, I Didn't Watch the Whole Game.... Did Anyone Mention CTE?

I didn’t even know who was playing on Thursday, my interest in professional sports is slightly above nil. (And 34 minutes of WTF do we do now didn’t help!) But there was one thing that seemed strange to me…

Aside from the NFLevoloution blurbs, there was not one word on Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, or CTE. (And those NFL blurbs were masterpieces of saying absolutely nothing.) Given all the attention in the news lately, I had guessed that someone would say something. Though I did notice a distinct lack of lead-with-the-helmet tackles. I guess that is progress of a sort.
