I love the stats. NYPD Rolls Out Tech From African-American Led Company to Fight Gun Violence

A short article on the expansion of shot-spotter from an African-American run company by NYPD.

But the really interesting take-away…

The percentage of alerts without 911 calls has remained constant, with 75% to 80% of gunfire incidents in New York City going unreported to 911.

I find that interesting for reasons that I can’t really nail down. I’m sure it says something important about life in our cities.
