1. You do not need to stop at a green light. Or even slow down (unless you are really pushing it from a speed-limit POV) to near zero. They rarely go from green to red without stopping at yellow of at least a little while.
2. Please don’t drive 35mph when the speed limit is 55mph. Yes the roads are winding, but that means I will never get the chance to pass you.
3. You can’t cut across traffic randomly without looking just because you realized that you want to turn here. Go around the block. Go to the next parking lot and turn around. (It’s a river town, surrounded by rivers and river towns, going around the block is sometimes complicated by lack of bridges. It isn’t worth the delay an accident will inflict on your day.)
