The frightening thing is not dying, The frightening thing is not living

“Primitives” by T-bone Burnett, from his 1992 album The Criminal Under My Own Hat.

The line from the song, that serves as the title to this post, is important to me. Get busy living, or get busy dying.

Burnett has worked as an independent artist, a producer and even worked in film. (I don’t know if you can say, “best known for” but he produced and wrote the soundtrack for O Brother, Where Art Thou? for the Cohen Brothers.)
