Clerk Kills Would-Be Robber

Self-defense is a human-right. Florida Clerk, with Concealed Carry Permit, Kills Would-Be Robber

Clay County deputies said the clerk, at Prime Stop Food Store in Orange Park, became suspicious after a man wearing sunglasses walked into the store around midnight.

Deputies said that William Smith, 29, pulled out a gun and tried to rob the store.

The clerk, being a concealed-weapon permit-holder, fired, killing the would-be robber.

The reaction of the family of the guy who got shot is refreshingly honest.

His family said he was addicted to drugs.

“In all honesty, if he didn’t die this way, he would have ended up dying,” his sister, Lisa Marie, said. “He would have ended up killing himself on drugs.”

This is clearly a tragedy for the family, but they are not trying to shift blame. That takes its own brand of courage in this age of shirking responsibility.
