Floridians Are (Almost) as Heavily Armed as Texans

The would-be burglars haven’t gotten that memo. Police: Miami Homeowner Shoots Man Trying To Break In

So he tried to break into a Miami home at 6:30 in the morning. He set off an alarm, not once but twice. The homeowner was at home, and he was armed.

The guy was trying to break in using bolt cutters. He got shot and was sent to the hospital in critical condition.

But that isn’t the disturbing thing.

One neighbor told CBS4’s Marybel Rodriguez that same man has broken into homes in the area multiple times.

“Four times in mine, four times in another and his home, two times,” said neighbor Isabella Nunez.

Residents who live in the upscale neighborhood near Midtown say it’s concerning.

And he has been caught by police in the past. So why is he not in jail?

This is the 3rd time in a month a South Florida homeowner has had something to say to someone breaking into his home. You would think the bad guys would take a hint.

Good Guys 1, Bad Guys 0. Self-defense is a human-right.
