He tried to rob a Metro by T-Mobile store. The clerk shot him. He is charged in a robbery of a different Metro by T-Mobile store in April.

Jones has been in custody since an employee shot him in the stomach, left leg and right hand April 23 at another of the chain’s locations on Harvard Avenue at East 93rd Street, according to police reports and court records.

The other robbery was on April 19th.

So did the law-abiding gun-owner stop a crime spree? Who knows? But I know that self-defense is a human-right.
