Knife Control Won’t Make People Act with Compassion

If a gun had been used, the media would ignore this aspect of the story to scream for gun control. But why doesn’t anyone today have simple compassion for their fellow human beings? (Hint: It isn’t a lack of gun or knife control.) ‘They videoed his death instead of helping him’: A teen was fatally stabbed as peers watched, police say.

“Kids stood here and didn’t help Khaseen,” Nassau County Police Det. Lt. Stephen Fitzpatrick said at a news conference Tuesday. “They would rather video this event. They videoed his death instead of helping him.”

Now part of it is that we’ve told generations that you can’t do anything for yourself, you have to rely of the .gov for everything. But this goes beyond hesitating into not caring. This is a sad commentary on the culture as whole.

“I don’t know what to make of it, my generation versus this generation,” [Fitzpatrick] said of the phenomenon. “This can’t go on. Your friends are dying while you stand there and video it. That’s egregious.”

The Left wanted to erase Western Civilization, and they’ve succeeded.
