Don’t Bring a Sword to a Gunfight

Even in the People’s Republic of New York, armed self-defense works. Liquor Store Clerk Kills Man Swinging Samurai Sword.

Detectives determined 50-year-old Theodore Scoville went into the store and swung a samurai sword three times before the clerk shot him. Scoville, of Port Jefferson Station, was pronounced dead in the store.

The clerk hasn’t been identified because he hasn’t done anything wrong. Even in the arcane world of New York Gun Laws, his gun was legally owned.

Self-defense is a human-right. Good Guys 1, Bad Guys 0.

  2. Store owner is lucky to have video of the incident. Makes it much more difficult for agenda driven DA’s to allege that the perp wasn’t a valid threat and thus shooting wasn’t justified. ALL businesses that deal with walk in customers should have quality Hi Res video and recording to insure that there are NO QUESTIONS about what happens inside during a crime.
