The Democrats finally admit there is a plantation. The title to this post is (nearly) a quote from a Democratic Party operative, about Representatives elected by the people. Democrats plan to censure lawmaker who credited Trump for COVID-19 recovery.
“At the end of the day, we have political systems,” said Jonathan Kinloch, chairman of the [13th Congressional District Democratic Party Organization]. “We have political parties, and political parties exist for a reason.
“They do not belong to themselves,” Kinloch said of endorsed candidates and elected officials. “They belong to the members and precinct delegates of the Democratic Party.”
Voters? They belong to the party as well. (Just ask the Communists in China, or under Stalin in the old Soviet Union.)
