The Breakdown of Order in the Cities

It hasn’t taken a long time. Breakdown: The unwinding of law and order in our cities has happened with stunning speed.

The rising carnage in the inner city is the consequence of this official repudiation of the criminal-justice system. The current tolerance and justification for vandalism and violence; the silencing of police supporters; and police unwillingness to intervene, even when their own precincts are assaulted—all send a clear message to criminals that society has lost the will to prevent lawlessness.

Minneapolis, Baltimore, Milwaukee, Chicago, and New York. Those are mentioned in the article. It probably goes a lot farther than that.

  1. Not hard to see where this leads. Fewer cops/cops afraid to do their job, leads to higher violent crimes. More lawfully armed Americans, more self-defense shootings. Cries of RAAAAACISM and vigilante justice, when armed citizens shoot in self-defense. Then, rising cries of too many guns, we must eliminate ccw, and more gun control…………….
