CRIME SCENE DO NOT CROSSHe thought robbing a store in Florida was a good idea. Broward gas station clerk shoots man dead during attempted armed robbery, police say

Around 5 a.m. Sunday morning, Stephon Brown went to the Valero at 2400 W. Sunrise Blvd. in unincorporated Central Broward County, pulled out a gun and attempted to rob the gas station. That’s when, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said, the gas station clerk pulled out a gun of his own and shot Brown multiple times.

He ran, but didn’t get far. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Self-defense is a human-right, and in Florida, it is mostly your legal right.
