He apparently thought breaking into a home in the middle of the night was a good idea, but he picked the wrong home. Homeowner kills intruder.

Police responded about 2:30 a.m. Thursday to a report of a home invasion in progress in Coloma Township, according to the Herald-Palladium of St. Joseph.
Coloma Township Police Chief Wes Smigielski said the homeowner came outside with his hands up when officers arrived.

The dead-guy was found in the home with a single gunshot wound.

So how would you respond to an uninvited visitor in your home at 2:30 AM?
